Before we get into the various costumes worn by the characters of individual aliens and whatnot, there has to be a mention of this new outfit designed for Neelix, this one being a blue turquoise suit, made up of patterns that slightly call to mind fish scales, and worn over a red patterned shirt. The actual cut of the suit is identical to the multicoloured checkered pattern suit he wore in his first appearances, with the same sort of tubing criss-crossing the jacket as well.

It should also be worth mentioning here that there was some costumes for Neelix that were never filmed, apparently due to not being completed in time - one example is this very garish number that makes his on-screen outfits look reserved in comparison! This costume itself only was made more public thanks to being put on the Star Trek Auction Listings Archive.

'The 37's'

In this episode, the Voyager crew come across a bunch of humans from the 1930s that have been trapped in the future - these humans are first seen wearing grey bodysuits with segmented panelling around the torso with a pink-purple band for the middle segment, and briefly worn with angular hoods as well - Blackman came up with a similar design for the Vulcan troopers in episodes of Enterprise as well. It should be worth bringing up how much I've hated having to use more or less grainy, fuzzy DVD rips to screenshot (these are 'AI enhanced' in imitation high-definition, but honestly they look worse in a way) - because I honestly didn't realize the suits weren't just all-grey from their on-screen appearance alone.

'Initiations'

This episode had another appearance from the Kazon, though a different sect - the Kazon's various 'sects' all have a different style of dress to each other, with this particular sect, the 'Ogla' are dressed far more grubby compared to Culluh's sect - the Ogla all wear tattered yellow and pink gowns adorned with metallic pieces and thick tubing. Usually I don't include more schlubby attire (hence the lack of post-apocalypse media on this blog) but when its Robert Blackman designing I'll make an exception as his attempts at grubby aliens still look fairly, well, alien.

'Persistance of Vision'

In this episode, the crew of the Voyager are forced to endure disturbing visions sent to them by a mysterious alien, who wears a grey jumpsuit fitted with panelling around the shoulders, as well as with a flattened hood as well.

'Parturition'

This episode involved Paris and Neelix ending up on a hostile barren world, one of whose only residents is a reptilian alien and her child - the reptilian is only very briefly seen, mostly obscured by smoke, but it seems that it was wearing a jumpsuit made of a material that looks somewhat like bandages.

'Cold Fire'

In this episode, Kes meets another member of Kes' species the Ocampa, Tanis (Gary Graham), who wears a blue coat with a grey panel on one side, seperated from the blue by a thin orange line.

Some other Ocampa are seen, wearing similarly colourful long jackets, some of them being asymmetrical in design as well.

'Maneuvers'

This episode involved Culluh trying to steal technology from the Voyager ship, and in the process enlisting help from other Kazon sects, such as the 'Relora' who wear green and blue striped robes with brown leather straps over them.

There is also Surat (John Gegenhuber) of the 'Mostral' sect, who wears a less vibrant outfit of brown and black furs with ridged armor padding for a vest as well.

'Resistance'

In this episode some of the Voyager's crew ends up trapped on a planet controlled by a fascistic police force, the 'Mokra', who wear black uniforms with padded material around the shoulders, chest and sleeves, worn with a streamlined helmet - these uniforms would be reused again in later episodes, in particular the episode 'Nemesis' where they were worn by the alien 'Kradin' instead. I'm not sure if the tunic with a strip of padded material down the front was made for this episode or not, but I'm including it here anyway.

'Prototype'

This episode involved the Voyager's crew meeting a group of mysterious robots, all clad in rather drab jackets with a shinier panel in the middle, with the trousers being made of the same material as the panel - the most striking thing about the outfit is honestly the mask the actor had to wear to be a robot! There is also a dark red version of the uniform that is seen only very briefly, worn by an android officer on a screen.

'Alliances'

In this episode, the Voyager crew try to broker a peace with the Kazon, with one Kazon tribe's delegates wearing heavy grey tunics coated with a mosaic-like material on the front and sleeves - similar uniforms would be used on other aliens in both later seasons of Voyager and the sequel series Enterprise.

'Lifesigns'

In this episode, the Doctor (Robert Picardo) trying to save the life of the Vidiian woman Danara Pel (Susan Diol) who wears a dark red dress with shiny lining, with a drape of fabric of the same material around the chest.

'Investigations'

Appearing in this episode briefly is a Talaxian communications officer who wears a red uniform with black lining around the shoulders and a multicolored shirt underneath.

'The Thaw'

In this episode, the Voyager crew find themselves trapped in a computer simulation menaced by a figure known only as 'the Clown' (Michael McKean), who wears a sort of futuristic riff on a mime outfit rather than, well, a clown!

His various minions meanwhile are just in unitards coated in patterns based on abstract art, I spy some possible Kandinsky homages on some of them, some of them wearing tutus with them as well - a lot of these unitards seem a bit worse for wear by now, but the patterns can still be made out.

The simulation has kept three aliens trapped inside it in their sleep, with their elder Viorsa (Thomas Kopache) wearing a blue and brown coat.

'Tuvix'

In this episode, a teleportation accident causes Neelix to merge with the resident Vulcan Tuvok (Tim Russ), thus creating an entity called 'Tuvix' (Tom Wright), whose outfit was literally a hybrid of Neelix's tubing-adorned jackets and Tuvok's Starfleet uniform, with the black and yellow colourscheme being made up of patterned material rather than solid blocks.
